The location was fantastic right in Central Hong Kong, so amoungst all the amazing sky scrapers yet the old world charm of the street stalls in the alley ways. We were on the 11h floor and there was not any noise problem. The room was spacious and very clean and we liked the authentic chinese cupboards and other furniture. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and there were little felt butterlies attached to the pillows which was a lovely touch. There were tea and coffee facilities and when I needed an iron, one was brought to our room with an ironing board. The bathroom is small but the shower quite spacious and the handbasin large and attractive. The towels and sheets were of good quality and fresh and clean. In the reception area there were lovely couches and more tea and coffee facilities and water so you could fill a jug from your room and bottles so buying plastic bottles of water was not necessary. There are air purifiers and de-humidifiers through out the hotel. Karen Law the Manager was so helpful, kind and thoughtful. All of the staff such as Natalie Kong and others who names I do not have were all fantastic. Karen helped us organise our sim cards and installed them for us as we were very confused. The staff also recommeded places to eat and see. Karen also hailed a taxi for us when we were leaving which was much appreciated. We really appreciated the care and thoughtfulness of the whole team, their training is obvioulsy very thorough. Thank you Karen and your wonderful team.

Free, early check- in was organised for us after we arrived early. Luggage stored while this was organised. Room and ensuite tastefully organised. After check out, again luggage stored and reception facilities made available to us. Prompt attention to minor problem with bathroom. Staff (Clint) provided 240volt adaptors for us, again promptly. We were alerted to a potential noise issue, which didn’t eventuate. Proactive management noted. Main advantage was the location near the Hong Kong covered walkway and escalator system, which is unheralded but functions superbly to help with the steep hills. One photo ( uploaded ) shows the escalator up above, and hilly terrain, nearby. e.g. Soho, above the hotel, becomes accessible . Metro trams, ferries also. Great, friendly, multilingual staff, eager to help. Maps, books in reception. Check out the reference copy of “ Hong Kong, then and now” (see photo)

Location was outstanding in central Hong Kong Island. Close to AirPort Express and MTR. Surrounded by good restaurants and bars. Nothing fancy, but extremely clean and had everything one could need. Helpful staff and great a/c. Very quiet in the room despite facing Wellington Street. Just down the block from the best noodle shop ever. As a first time traveler to Hong Kong, it would’ve been helpful to know that from the mall when arriving on Airport Express , it is best to stay on the elevated footpath past Central Market and take the stairs down to the street just before the electric ramp starts before the escalators.

Excellent facilities , extremely clean room & bathroom, comfortable king-size bed, all what u need in the room , safe, hairdryer, slippers, tea&coffee pot, everything you need in bathroom use, toothbrush, toothpaste, shower cup, etc. Very good AC. Permanent refill drinking water in lobby. Coffee machine with excellent choice free, in the lobby. Very nice staff, profesional and smiley ☺️. Central location, good for visiting, restaurants, shopping, nightlife. Recomand , I will stay again any time.

Location was perfect for us. Right in the liveliness of Hong Kong, but not in the night scene/ noisy area.. Beds were great and the airconditioning worked really well. We were really doubting which side to stay (Kowloon or Hong Kong Island), but having spent 4 days in Hong Kong we are really happy with having stayed on Hong Kong Island.
